Gaviscon Double Action peppermint tablet brings relief from the pain and discomfort of heartburn and acid indigestion. It gets to work in two different ways: (1) Neutralizing excess stomach acid to relieve pain and discomfort. (2) Forming a protective barrier over the stomach contents to soothe the burning pain in your chest. This product is sugar free and gluten free.

Indications:

- Relief of heartburn and acid indigestion (also known as dyspepsia).

- Relief of symptoms of conditions eg, hiatus hernia and reflux oesophagitis (inflamed food pipe), including symptoms of laryngopharyngeal reflux such as hoarseness and other voice disorders, sore throats and cough.

- Treat symptoms of gastrooesophageal reflux during concomitant treatment with or following withdrawal of acid suppressing therapy.

Dosage and Directions For Use:

- Adults, including elderly and children above 12 years: 2-4 tablets after meals and at bedtime, or as directed.

- Children below 12 years: Not to be given unless recommended by your doctor.

- Chew thoroughly before swallowing.

- Can be taken by pregnant and breastfeeding women.
